
At SCN Kenya, we believe that everyone can make a difference—whether you’re 18 or 65! We offer a variety of volunteer experiences designed to connect you with vibrant communities and create lasting impact.

What will you do?
Your volunteering journey will focus on community engagement—supporting farmer and fisher families, marginalized groups, teenage mothers, women , men and youth. You can also contribute by sharing your expertise in construction or craft knowledge, health, hygiene, leadership, digital skills, or basic business training.
And it’s not all work! Based on your interests, we can arrange weekend adventures (prices and detailed description available on request) like hiking Mount Elgon, exploring a game park, visiting the stunnig Rift Valley, or spending time at one of our partner NGO locations . Group Learning Experiences in Kenya
We offer 5–10 day group experiences centered on focused themes such as “Root Causes of Migration” and “Sustainable, Impactful Work with Vulnerable Communities.”
Participants will visit and engage with multiple NGOs and local communities in Western Kenya and Nairobi. The program includes:
- Field visits across several regions
- Guided reflection sessions
- Exchange with local stakeholders
- Hands‑on training and knowledge sharing with and from participants
Group size: minimum: 12 participants; maximum: 15 participants
Each group is accompanied by a dedicated guide and coach available 24/7, ensuring a safe, enriching, and well‑supported experience. If you’re interested, please get in touch with us to learn more.

In the past 10 years we have offered > 25 leadership weeks for Corporate managers from more than 15 different countries around the globe. Voices
We hosted participants from Ireland during a Hands-on/ Activation week, offered several days lasting workshops at our NGO sites and also hosted individual volunteers for several weeks.
Your stay? Our centers offer guesthouses directly connected to our community work. E.g at our SCN center GAASPP in Webuye you will be hosted in our Olukulu Guesthouse —a welcoming retreat for you and your team—and engage directly with our community initiatives at the GAASPP Center. Visits to our centers in Tonagaren, Homabay, Eldoret , Kendu Bay/Homabay and Nairobi can be included. At Olukulu guesthouse we offer: Over 50 comfortable rooms, a spacious training hall, meeting rooms, full catering services, a refreshing swimming pool, our own bakery, an authentic African eco-village. All just 5 minutes from our NGO center.

Even better: every stay gives back. The guesthouse follows a non‑profit model, reinvesting profits into the GAASPP Center’s community projects and infrastructure.
