What will you do?
Your volunteering journey will focus on community engagement—supporting farmer and fisher families, marginalized groups, teenage mothers, women , men and youth. You can also contribute by sharing your expertise in construction or craft knowledge, health, hygiene, leadership, digital skills, or basic business training.

And it’s not all work! Based on your interests, we can arrange weekend adventures (prices and detailed description available on request) like hiking Mount Elgon, exploring a game park, visiting the stunnig Rift Valley, or spending time at one of our partner NGO locations .

What about costs and duration?

To ensure your stay is safe, guided, and impactful, we have a transparent weekly pricing system. This covers:

Comprehensive Preparation – Join online calls and information sessions, including a personal briefing with your local NGO leader, so you feel confident before you start.

Your Personalized Volunteering Plan – A clear roadmap tailored to your skills, interests, and goals.

All Necessary Materials – Everything you need for impactful activities with the community.

Comfortable, Safe & Convenient Stay – Accommodation, nutritious meals, and local transport included for a worry-free experience.

Your stay can be as short as 1 week or as long as 6 months—flexible to fit your schedule!

Please note: international/national flights, visa, and vaccination costs are not included.

Thinking About Volunteering, But Not Solo?

For 2026 we plan also 2 x a 1-week group experience on the focus topics: “Roots of migration and “Sustainable systemic work with vulnerable communities”. We will visit and interact with several NGOs iand communities in Western Kenya: field visits in Uasin Gishu, Bungoma county and lake Victoria region, reflection time, infomration and a hands-on training from you is part of it. If you are interested, please let us know. We will send you then our information flyer. The group size: minimum: 12 particpants//maximum 15 participants accompanied by a 24/7 guide and coach.

Our experience

In the past 10 years we have offered > 25 leadership weeks for Corporate managers from more than 15 different countries around the globe, hosted particpants from Ireland during a Hands-on /activation week, offered several days lasting workshops at our NGO sites and also hosted individual volunteers for several weeks. In many NGO centers we offer also guesthouses directly connected to our NGO centers.
