In 2025, SCN delivered unprecedented results, demonstrating the power of our network and programs.

  • Expanded SCN Kenya network to > 20 active multistakeholders across NGOs, social enterprises, academia, private sector, and government agencies.
  • Increased multi‑county presence (e.g., Nairobi, Bungoma, Uasin Gishu, Kendubay, Homabay, Mombasa with active local nodes.)
  • Developed 6+ cross‑sector coalitions around key themes (teenage mothers, youth support, income generating & employment, education continuity, Artificial intelligence knowledge, community safety). First SCN Open Day in 2025! SCN wide teenage mother conference in January 2026! SCN community shop in Eldoret opened, where products of all SCN members are sold together!

Developped further a SCN Solution Exchange Hub enabling partner‑to‑partner knowledge transfer – not just within Kenya, but also connecting to SCN India.

Validated 10–15 proven solutions ready for adaptation and scale in Kenya – including solutions in organic farming, biogas implantation, teenage mother consultation, digital literacy.

Successfully replicated > 5 community‑driven solutions across multiple counties (youth engagement platforms, women health awareness programs, basic business skill training, teacher programs, NGO staff online training).

Mobilized local ambassadors and media partners to support authentic storytelling and community representation. Local TV: 3 million people reached; Local radio: 33 million people reached. National TV contribution on SCN Open Day.

Engaged 7+ community‑based organizations as anchoring partners in urban informal settlements and rural communities.

Trained 30+ local champions and facilitators in co‑creation, community listening, and solution transfer.

  • Designed and implemented 2 multi‑stakeholder pilots (organic farming and teenage mother ) influencing & collaborating on county‑level policy or planning and involvement of German BMZ and international NGOs.
  • SCN Open Day has attracted many local and regional NGO representatives (even from neighbpor countries).
  • First collaboration with Irish Bungoma outreach group,
  • Continued support from Boehringer Ingelheim’s Making More Health initiative and representing SCN at the Making More Health Together conference 2025 in Ingelheim, Germany.

Outreach 2025 in total: > 1 million people in vulnerable communities across Kenya, wherefrom > 130,000 people participated directly (F2F) in SCN activities, targeting health & hygeine, eduation, income generation in the communities , environement and infrastructures.

Supported the creation or strengthening of community committees, youth councils, or women‑led groups in all SCN Kenya locations. Local leadership participation.

  • SCN Membership Platform Launch 2026 – enforcing a global movement for grassroots change
  • Establish SCN Kenya Fund
  • Publish an annual SCN Kenya Impact & Systems Report.
